On an oval-shaped embroidered device 1 3/8 inches (3.49 cm) in height and 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in width edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border, the background bisected vertically; left side purple, right side white, overlaid with a chevron shape 1/4 inch (.64 cm) in width throughout, the apex touching the top inner border and bisected there along the same vertical with the colors reversed, white and purple. The background trimming was approved on 23 March 2004. It was rescinded on 1 April 2016.
